Week Two

We were all by ourselves for most of the second week of Champ's life and he is lucky he's still alive. We didn't realize how hard it is to keep everything up when you have a baby. Our parents were with us the first week and did everything for us, so you can imagine our shock when were all by ourselves and had to do more than eat, sleep and hold and feed Champ. We went home to Grand Junction for the last part of the week though and were once again grateful for the assistance. Champ started smiling the during his second week. It was so much fun to see him smile, although I don't think he really knew what he was doing at that point. This may not look like a true smile, but its actually just poor photography we couldn't get him at the right moment and this was as close as we could get. :)
